What was the highlight of OYO 577 Getz Hotel
Pleasant
Location is excellent. 2 minutes to the city train station, 3 stops for about 0.5 USD to Intramuros (old town). On the way to the station there are a 24-hours convenience store (7-eleven) and two 24-hours fastfood stores (McDonald's and local kind of KFC). WiFi is ok. Reception really works 24 hours, no need to wake them up - they really work (unlike the place I am now).
Cockroaches!!! Electric sockets are US type only, some other hotels have universal sockets, acceptable for EU plugs. They have their own super strange confirmation system. I booked a room at a day of check-in in the morning, recieved auto-confirmation email from Booking and went on a half-day excursion (in a Vietnam) without access to both calls and emails (I never buy local sim cards, always use only hotel and public wifi), when I returned to the hotel (in Vietnam) I recieved a bunch of missed calls, sms and emails directly from the hotel about to confirm my reservation. The last one sms was to confirm reservation in 30 minutes otherwise it would be cancelled. I got it on time in the last minutes like in a cheap movie, but what's for? What's the reason to have a parallel confirmation system, which could not to match with Booking? - That's confusing and could cause false expectations.

Not so Good
The staffs are well mannered
The room is warm.. the AC is small and placed against where the bed is.. it is facing towards the door where nothing else would be cooled except for the cr and and the door.. Internet connection is pretty unstable. My main reason why I checked in is because my internet at home is down and I have to find a place where there is reliable internet. Other OYO hotels I've been has reliable internet so I assumed this one has too. Unfortunately, No. Lastly, food is expensive. I bought a bottle of mineral water for 38 pesos. Lol
